EIGHTY - Art Series 01

Art Series 01 is a limited run of 30 units which started as a project to create a custom keyboard for YouTuber HamajiNeo. Each board was custom Cerakoted in Boston MA, and among the Bastion and Chronos variants no two will be exactly the same.

Disclaimer: Some cases will have a medium to tight housing fit caused by the thickness of the Cerakote finish. This is due to the tight gaps that were targeted to achieve our aesthetic objectives and completely normal. Once assembled this will not impact function of the board.

The top and bottom halves of the case feature clean but distinct lines precision machined out of 6063 Aluminum. The two interlocking halves are securely held together with three screws.

We refer to the mounting system of the Eighty as the "Stack Mount." The plate/PCB assembly stacks onto three posts located in the case and is supported by a sheet of Poron which provides compression to hold the components in place. The typing feel is firm but not unforgiving, and can be made softer with the use of our FR4 or PC plates.

An optional middle gasket that sits between the plate and PCB is provided for those who prefer a more muted sound profile.

Hotswap PCB/Plates: Tsangan(7u space) or standard(6.25u space) bottom row, normal/stepped caps, normal right shift, and normal backspace.

Solderable PCB/Plates: Tsangan(7u space) or standard(6.25u space) bottom row, normal/stepped caps, normal/split right shift, and normal/split backspace.
